Garnet Ring

A surprise birthday gift in the form of an 18ct Yellow Gold Ring with a rub-over setting that supports a rich ruby red Rhodolite Garnet purchased in Sri Lanka by my client’s Father.  This type of Garnet is of top quality because of the colour.  The ring has a deep open side allowing the light to show off the beauty of the stone.  The original ring in the photo has a partial rub-over but as she wore it constantly it was not stable enough so a small rim was added around the stone to strengthen the setting.
