Colour-Change Sapphire Ring

It’s not often you are given a fascinating gemstone and this one was certainly that.  It was purchased in Vietnam whilst my client was working there for some years.  In natural light it is a lovely clear blue whilst in artificial light it is quite purple.  Two stones in one you could say.  A simple setting in yellow gold with 2 diamonds on each shoulder was created to fit an existing ring.  The stone set down into the half round band with 4 claws holding it in place.  The band tapering towards the back for an easy fit.
