Sapphire Ring

These are Australian Sapphires brought to me by a client who wanted the square blue Sapphire set at an angle with the smaller yellow Sapphires at the sides. The request was for a ring with the stones set low and easy to wear so it was suggested a rub-over setting would be the best option. The corners of the central setting were filed down so the smaller settings fitted close. A groove was filed on the other corners of the blue sapphire setting giving it a character of its own.
