I have known Julie of Juliana Jewellery for many many years. I was discussing with my father ( a retired gemmologist ) the best person to make the most important ring of my life, my engagement/wedding band. He said “Julie” without hestitation.

She did a remarkable job . Very very happy with the design. I also used Julie to update a ring I had for many years. I now have two very beautiful rings !

I was looking for a unique ring to celebrate my engagement, but after searching shop after shop, came to the conclusion that what I wanted, what I needed, wasn’t going to be found in any commercial premises. I was chasing a ring that would symbolise myself and my future union……I needed something that I designed, that could be hand crafted with love and attention.

To be honest, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Allowing me to select the style, the gems, the design and the metals with hints and tips along the way, Julie helped create a ring that I will treasure forever! Many many thanks and many happy memories.

I am the proud possessor of a particularly lovely sapphire ring with a unique setting that Julie designed for me from blue and yellow Anakie sapphires, purchased by my geologist husband .

We collaborated with Julie, considering her sketches for settings and for fashioning the design for the ring. I noticed that she was interested in the provenance of the gems and in my preferences for coloured stones. Julie also considered how the ring would look on my rather large hand and in my preference for having the main stone set on the diagonal and complemented by the two yellow companion sapphires.

Wearing this ring is a continual source of pleasure and I commend Julie’s work to all interested, prospective clients.

I have owned this sapphire for thirty years and vacillated over what to have made, and the type of setting to suit. I eventually discussed it with Julie and was impressed with her suggestions and her sensitivity to my preference for simplicity. Together we worked through her ideas and decided on a design which I think shows off the beautiful stone to perfection.

I am really thrilled with the result and it excites favourable comment whenever I wear it. Perhaps importantly, both my daughters like it as well!
