Opal Teardrop Pendant

This Pendant was created following the guidelines of the client for a style with clean lines, a solid frame that would fit around the stunning Black Opal from Lightning Ridge full of fire that needed a simple and elegant design to compliment the beauty of the gemstone.  The flat bail is completely hidden behind.  The 15ct metal was smelted down from a variety of pieces that were no longer worn but there was many grams of gold returned for further creations.
